Police have tracked down and charged a man for allegedly lighting five cars and a bin on fire after a failed break and enter, just south of Brisbane.
Logan police have charged a 26-year-old man with 10 offences following investigations into multiple fires that were lit at Edens Landing in Logan this month.
Around 3.40am, September 3, police alleged an attempt was made to break into a Grove Rd property where a bin was set on fire in the front yard.
Five other vehicles were also set alight along the adjoining street, Holliday Dr.
No one was physically injured as a result of the fires or home during the incident.
Following extensive investigations by Beenleigh Criminal Investigation Branch, detectives located and arrested a 26-year-old Beenleigh man on September 21.
Ethan Nicolas John Warner was charged with four counts of arson, three counts of endanger property by fire, and one count each of attempted arson, attempted enter dwelling and unlicensed driving.
He appeared at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 22 while remanded in custody.
