Edens Landing: Police hunt man after thief sets five cars, bin on fire

DETECTIVES have released images of a bearded man in a hoodie after five cars and a bin were set alight following a failed break and enter in Logan.

DETECTIVES have released images of a bearded man in a hoodie after five cars and a bin were set alight following a failed break and enter in Logan.

Police were called to a Grove Rd, Edens Landing property during the early hours of Sunday morning after a burglar attempted to get in through the back door.

They arrived shortly before 4am to find a bin on fire outside the house, followed by five cars ablaze on the adjacent street, Holliday Drive.

“No one was physically injured,” police said in a statement.

“Detectives are investigating possible links between the incidents due to their proximity.

“Witnesses or anyone with relevant information or vision is urged to contact police.”

No one was home during the incident.

Police said the man in the CCTV images may be able to help with their investigation.
