A Logan woman formerly addicted to methamphetamine trafficked ice and cannabis to 57 customers over a three-week period, making 103 separate transactions, a court has heard.
Crestmead woman Bianca Monique Kirchner, 30, pleaded guilty in Brisbane Supreme Court to one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug.
The court heard Kirchner and her then-partner, who has already been dealt with by the courts, trafficked drugs between March 4 and March 30, 2018, a total of about 25 days, although her partner trafficked for about three months total.
Kirchner trafficked in “street-level” quantities, the court heard, where her customers were end-users.
She supplied drugs on 103 occasions in total to 57 customers, selling as much as 3.5g of meth at a time for $850 and ounces of cannabis for $490.
Kirchner was arrested on October 12, 2018, and remanded in pre-sentence custody for three days before her release on bail.
She had somewhat of a criminal history, the court heard, most relevantly being fined $350 in late-2018 after being caught growing four cannabis plants in her backyard.
Defence counsel John Cook told the court Kirchner was addicted to ice at the time of her offending, but kicked the habit following her three days in custody.
He noted she suffered a myriad of health and mental conditions which necessitated the use of a personal carer.
Justice Thomas Bradley sentenced Kirchner to three years’ imprisonment with immediate court-ordered parole.
