A young Edens Landing man has landed back in court charged with seriously assaulting a police officer.
Benjamin Robert Beard, 24, appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with serious assault police officer by biting, spitting.
The court heard police will allege Mr Beard allegedly spat on a police officer in Edens Landing on May 12.
The matters have been committed for a trial by jury in district court at a later date.
