Beenleigh Police Station officer Harrison James Barker, 30, in court for alleged drink drives, accessing private documents
NAMED: A Logan police officer working for the road policing team has faced court charged with eight counts of unauthorised disclosure of information and one count of low range drink driving.

A Queensland police officer has faced court, charged with eight counts of unauthorised disclosure of information and one count of drink driving.
Harrison James Barker, 30, faced Beenleigh Magistrates Court on December 5 charged with eight counts of unauthorised use of confidential information and one count of drink driving over the general alcohol limit.
He has not entered a plea.
The Ormeau police officer has been suspended from the Road Policing and Regional Support Command team.
Court documents state Mr Barker worked at the Beenleigh Police Station and allegedly accessed sensitive computer-based documents.
He allegedly accessed them from the station on May 11, June 16, 17, July 7, 25, twice on July 11 and on August 28.
Mr Barker was charged under the police service administration act.
It’s also alleged he was driving over the general alcohol limit but not the middle alcohol limit on Arthur Dixon Ct in Yatala on November 12.
The matters were adjourned by Magistrate Mark Howden to Beenleigh Magistrates Court on January 23.
Mr Barker was given bail in his own undertaking.
The Ormeau police officer was supported by his partner in court and refused to speak to media as he exited the courthouse steps.
