Four Seasons Indoor Play Centre Pty Ltd has Council approval to develop a vacant Bunnings warehouse and carpark site at 51 Kingston Road, Underwood into an Indoor Play Centre with Logan’s first ice skating rink.

The site is irregular in shape with an area of 29,320 sqm and access via Kingston Road.

It will be a part of the Underwood Business Precinct. To the north of the site is a childcare centre, food and drink outlets, a hotl, health care services and supermarkets.

The adjacent complexes included Underwood Marketplace, Hotel HQ, and Underwood Central shopping centre.

To the east of the site opposite Kingston Road there are food and drink outlets, a hardware store, and small scale warehouses.

According to the development application, which was approved this month, the existing Bunnings warehouse building and carpark haven’t been permanently occupied since 2018.

“The proposed development presents an exciting opportunity to establish new recreational and leisure opportunities, of a type and nature that does not currently exist within this part of Logan, and that is commensurate with the broader use of the site for a range of recreational experiences,” the DA read.

The facility is targeting youth employment, and is expected to provide approximately 20 new

jobs once opened.

The Indoor Play Centre will have various themed activity areas, rock climbing, ski machines, sensory rooms, and a synthetic ice skating rink within the existing building.

The facility incorporates a café which will offer food and beverages for patrons and a refuge for parents to relax while children play. The dining facilities will be ancillary to the indoor

play centre.
