Crews from the Volunteer Marina Rescue at Victoria Point and Redland Bay Coast Guard were activated by Water Police in the search for the man since Saturday.
The incident is the second on southeast Queensland waters after two men died after their boat capsized in rough conditions in Moreton Bay last week.
