Big names and rising stars litter the list of over 120 athletes who finished their 2024 club hockey season with a trophy in hand. Discover every award-winner by club, plus the major awards handed out by GCHA:

Big names and rising stars litter the list of over 120 athletes who finished their 2024 club hockey season with a trophy in hand.

Labrador Hockey and Hockey Burleigh were the top represented clubs across Gola Coast Hockey Association, with eight and five awardees respectively claiming either Player of the Year or Best and Fairest titles.

Fifteen-year-old prodigy Aurora Kovacevich was one of the many talents to snatch a major award - Player of the Year for under-16 females - while under-21s Jillaroo Camryn Mathison took out the same award in under-18s.

Nicolaas Smith wrapped up his season with both the Hockey Burleigh MVP and GCHA BnF awards, as Alanasia Malone claimed the Hockey Burleigh Player’s Player award to go with her GCHA BnF accolade.

In the Division 3 Men’s competition, Lachlan Caddy was Allstars Hockey’s lone BnF representative.

As were Jill Campbell, Roosters Hockey Club (Masters Female) and Chris Pittaway, Capri Hockey Club (Master’s Male) for Player of the Year recipients.
