A Priory St, Indooroopilly resident had to be helped to evacuate their unit block after a property on the second floor caught fire around 9.55am.
Foxton Street, Priory Street, Musgrave Road and Radnor Street have been closed by Police.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control by 10.11am.
Crews remain on scene “damped down’’ the unit, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said.
One person had to be helped out of a fourth floor unit and the whole building was evacuated.
One man has been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in stable condition for smoke inhalation.
“Our thoughts go out to anyone affected by this fire,’’ Local Councillor James Mackay said.
“Of course, the Walter Taylor Ward Office is willing to assist anyone who needs help.
“Incidents like this serve as unfortunate reminders that we should check our smoke alarms.
“Thanks to the fabulous first responders who attended the scene so quickly to prevent this from becoming a bigger incident.”
