Four children have been charged following a dramatic Polair chase that led cops across multiple suburbs and ended in a shopping centre showdown involving police dogs.

FOUR teenagers who allegedly went on a joyride in a stolen vehicle through Brisbane’s south-western suburbs were arrested in dramatic fashion yesterday afternoon, when police cornered them in a Toowong shopping centre carpark, before chasing them with dogs to a nearby train station.
PolAir observed a white Landrover Discovery, which had allegedly been stolen from Auchenflower on Monday, travelling through Inala before heading onto the Logan Motorway at Larapinta at about 2.30pm yesterday.

The vehicle was tracked as it continued to allegedly be driven dangerously throughout local streets, travelling through red lights.
Just before 4pm the stolen car was observed by PolAir entering the Level 1 carpark of Toowong Village shopping centre.
Dog Squad units converged on the location and officers spotted four people allegedly running from the vehicle towards the train station.
A short foot pursuit commenced and the four were taken into custody without incident.
Two 14-year-old boys from Inala and Goodna, a 15-year-old boy from Goodna and a 15-year-old girl from Chapel Hill have been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary and committing an indictable offence and receiving tainted property.
They are expected to face the Brisbane Children’s Court on a later date.
Queensland Police were unable to provide any images or footage of the chase and arrest.
