At about 4.30am on Sunday morning, the three armed men entered Camp Oven Bakery at Eight Mile Plains 7 Days Shopping Centre on the corner of Warrigal Rd and Padstow Rd demanding cash and threatening the two bakers who were preparing for the day’s trading.

They took about $300 from the till and got away in a white or silver Mitsubishi sedan.

One offender was described as male, dark skinned, tall in stature and armed with a knife.

A second offender was described as stocky build with a large nose and armed with a lever action rifle.

A third male was also present and was described as having a heavy build.

All offenders were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.

The bakery owner, who did not want to be named, said his two bakers were “a little bit shaky but no-one was hurt”.

He said the robbers caused so much “drama” for such a small amount of cash.

The two bakers took yesterday off work.

Investigations are continuing by the Mount Gravatt police CIB.
