A council bus driver in Brisbane’s southwest received the shock of their life when a teen who wanted to borrow the driver’s mobile phone allegedly turned nasty when he was refused.

A Brisbane City Council bus driver has been given the shock of their life when a 15-year-old boy produced a toy gun and attempted to hold the driver up.
According to Inala police, the bus was idling outside Forest Lake McDonalds on Forest Lake Blvd last night about 6.17pm with its doors closed when the teenager approached the bus and asked to use the driver’s mobile phone.

When the driver refused, the teenage boy allegedly produced a toy gun to threaten the driver. The alarmed driver drove away and contacted police.
Police subsequently located the 15-year-old Forest Lake teenager from Forest Lake and questioned him.
He was charged under provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Inala Police were also forced to deal with an alleged exhibitionist the previous afternoon.
About 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon, officers were called to an address at Pelican St, Inala following reports a man was exposing himself in a residential driveway.
Police attended the scene and charged a 45-year-old Inala man with wilful exposure.
He will appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court at a later date.
