Caboolture crash: Family and friends pay tribute to victim
A heartbroken friend of a woman killed in a car crash in Caboolture Wednesday night has told how the pair was due to meet just two days after her death.

A heartbroken friend of a woman killed in a car crash in Caboolture Wednesday night has told how the pair was due to meet just two days after her death.
Nicole McGregor, 45, died in a single car crash on Beerburrum Rd, north of Porter Rd, at 7.48pm.
Police closed off the stretch of road for some time, while paramedics tended to Nicole, who was in a critical condition, however she died at the scene.
Friends and family have taken to social media to share devastation with Nicole’s sister Kim Padey posting a tribute on her Facebook page: “With sadness in our hearts … we have to say goodbye to a beautiful soul … my little sister … I still can’t believe this is true … you’re now with mum twinkle toes … all my love yesterday, today and tomorrow Betty Boo.”
Friend Michelle Plahn wrote: “I can’t believe this has happened. You were comin’ to see me tomorrow and now you’re gone … RIP my best friend I love you.”
Another friend commented saying: “RIP Nicole such a beautiful girl was an absolute pleasure knowing you, you'll be sadly missed.”
A family member wrote: “My heart is breaking it doesn’t feel real RIP Aunty Nic.”
