Seniors from an elite girls’ school have posted “explicit and deplorable” images on social media, including pretending to bite and lick a student’s bottom emblazoned with the words “Catholic slut!”.
Videos posted by graduating students from All Hallows’ School at a full-year party in Brisbane on Thursday night show several girls on their knees simulating acts described by one parent as “absolutely degrading” and “promoting promiscuity”.
In other videos, also on Instagram and widely shared, girls are seen grinding up against one another while waving alcoholic drinks and near-empty bottles of wine.
The students, including some who held leadership roles, are all wearing skimpy outfits made by cutting up their school uniforms.
The Courier-Mail was sent the images by the alarmed parent who said “it reflects horribly on the school”.
“These posts are absolutely disgusting and deplorable, and with the news coverage about Only Fans being predatory on Schoolies, someone needs to be looking out for these kids at risk of things that may haunt them in years to come,” the parent said.
“All girls are clothed, albeit skimpily, in their altered school uniforms, which is also disgraceful.
“Wearing the school bike pants and writing those words on them is shameful and it’s mocking Catholics too.”
The parent, whose child is not from All Hallows’, said the posts had been circulated widely among Brisbane’s private schools.
A message to parents and caregivers from the school’s principal Catherine O’Keane read: “We are very disappointed in the behaviour which is captured in these images as it does not reflect our values. “The images were taken at a private event after the students had graduated from our school.”
All Hallows’ has been contacted for comment.
