An exclusive home in a blue chip Noosa street that boasts past and present celebrity residents is up for sale for the first time in nearly 30 years.

The owners of 62 Seaview Tce in Sunshine Beach are hoping to make a profit of about $13m.

Property data shows the three-bedroom, three-bathroom, oceanfront home has been held by the same family since 1994 when it was bought for $535,000.

It is back on the market for offers of $13.5m-plus.

The home is on an elevated block above the sand dunes on the northern end of the street with about 40m to beach access.

Sunshine Beach Real Estate sales consultant Rob Spencer has sold properties in the area for more than 25 years.

“It’s a rare opportunity for someone to purchase real quality in a suburb that is one of the top beach suburbs in Australia,” he said.

The last house that sold on the street was in March 2022 for $18.7m.

The sales consultant said the owners were “making their next move” and the home had been enjoyed by the whole family over the 30 years as a “wonderful” beach house.

He said there had been international, interstate and intrastate interest since the home was placed on the market several months ago.

Mr Spencer said there was also “local interest” because Noosa residents saw the home’s value.

“Sunshine Beach is one of the most prestigious strips of coastline in Australia,” he said.

Mr Spencer said the home was “lovingly maintained” and had not been renovated for a number of years.
