Controversial adult star Bonnie Blue has been spotted walking into Bali’s Immigration office in a green crop top and matching shorts with lawyer Edward Pangkahila while sporting a smile on Wednesday.
Asked if she was filming sexually explicit content when police raided a studio on Thursday, Blue offered a cheeky response.
“You’d have to subscribe to find out,” she said.
Blue, who was flanked by two of her British crew, Lennon Isaac Nabiel and Liam Andrew Jackson at the Immigration office, began filming herself with her phone before all three were taken in for questioning.
Lewd Australian jokester Julian Woods, who has also drawn police attention, arrived after Blue’s interview began.
Pangkahila did not want to comment as they took a break for lunch.
Blue was arrested in Bali on December 4 after Indonesian police raided a villa, where it is alleged pornography was being filmed.
Police seized cameras and other items including contraceptives, Viagra pills, and a small ute with “Bonnie Blue’s BangBus” livery.
Here’s what we know about her case so far.
WHO IS BONNIE BLUE?
Blue’s real name is Tia Billinger.
Formerly an OnlyFans creator, the British porn star now shares her content through Fansly.
WHY WAS BONNIE BLUE ARRESTED?
Indonesian authorities arrested the 26-year-old over alleged breaches to its strict “morality” laws surrounding sexual conduct.
WHAT’S THE LATEST WITH HER INVESTIGATION?
Blue has avoided being charged over alleged breaches to strict “morality” related content laws surrounding sexual conduct in Bali, after police could not find evidence of her or her crew making pornographic content.
But Blue and her crew members who include Australian comedian Julian Woods, may still face charges related to violating immigration and traffic laws.
According to Badung Police, investigators found they arrived in Bali to create daily life content while vacationing, and were at the Balism studio to take part in the production of an entertainment-themed reality show.
However, the Immigration team found indications of other violations.
“The four reported individuals are suspected of misusing their residence permits by using their KITAS (temporary resident permit) and tourist visas to work on commercial content,” a police statement read.
“In addition, investigators are also looking into the purchase and use of a pickup truck labelled “Bonnie Blue” and “Bang Bus,” which was allegedly used as a property for content production.”
Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara, said the investigation is being conducted professionally and objectively.
“We ensure that the entire process is carried out based on legal facts, and we are conducting a joint investigation with Immigration,” he said.
“So far, no pornographic elements have been found, but there are strong indications of violations of the traffic law and immigration violations, which we continue to investigate,” he said.
He added that Badung Police will continue coordinating with the prosecutor’s office and immigration authorities to determine the next legal steps.
WHO IS BONNIE BLUE’S LAWYER?
The porn star has hired Indonesian lawyer Edward Pankahila.
Pankahila is one of the ‘go-to’ lawyers for tourists and expats facing criminal investigation in Bali.
Currently he is representing Australian Lamar Ahchee, who is facing a potential nine years in Kerobokan jail over alleged drug offending in Bali.
WHERE IS BONNIE BLUE NOW?
Ms Billinger and three men who are part of her team remain in Bali after their passports were seized by Indonesian Immigration officials.
Blue was staying at an up-market villa in the Munggu area of Bali before moving to new accommodation.
She and her team are attempting to keep a low profile until the legal storm dies down.
Immigration official Raja Ulul Azmy said Blue could be deported after the police investigation was completed.
WHERE WAS BONNIE BLUE STAYING?
Blue and her team were staying at the Coco Lifestyle Residence in the Munggu area.
The stylish residence – which is advertised for $75AUD a night – included an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna, hot tub, sun terrace and even a pool bar.
WHERE WAS THE RAID?
Police allegedly raided a studio named Balism in Pererenan in the Badung district. It is a multipurpose rental studio which touts itself for “stills and motion” space.
WHO WERE THE AUSTRALIANS WITH BONNIE BLUE?
There were 14 men aged 19-40 arrested alongside Bonnie Blue and her team by Indonesian authorities on Thursday last week.
The three members of her crew that were arrested were British men Liam Andrew Jackson and Lennon Isaac Nabiel and Australian jokester Julian Woods. They have not been charged.
HOW MUCH JAIL TIME IS BONNIE BLUE FACING?
If prosecuted and found guilty of breaching Indonesia’s anti-pornography law, Ms Billinger faces up to 15 years’ imprisonment in Indonesia and fines up to 6 billion rupiah (approximately AUD$541,000), which are the maximum penalties.
WHAT HAS BLUE BEEN DOING IN BALI?
Since arriving in Bali, Ms Billinger has used her huge social media channel to share call outs for school leavers to make contact.
“Hey boys, those who are going to Schoolies, and those that are barely legal, cannot wait to meet you,” she posted last week.
“I’m in Bali so you know exactly what that means.”
WHY WAS SHE KICKED OUT OF AUSTRALIA?
Ms Billinger was banned from Australia last year after her “barely legal” stunt during which she called for “Schoolies” to be involved in her X-rated content.
