Woman, 29, killed in rollover crash on Channel Island Rd
A 29-year-old woman has died in a single vehicle crash at Wickham Point, with police yet to determine when or how the crash occurred.

A 29-year-old woman identified as a foreign national has died in a single vehicle crash at Wickham Point.
Acting Commander David Moore said the rollover on Channel Island Rd was reported to police by a member of the public at about 4.50am on Wednesday.
He said police and paramedics attended the scene but found the woman already dead inside the vehicle.
No one else was inside the vehicle, the make or type of which has not been disclosed.
Acting Commander David Moore said it was unclear when and how the crash occurred.
“A crime scene was established and major crash and northern traffic operations were in attendance and they are still at that scene currently,” he said.
“There’s no obstruction to the road and it’s still passable but there are ongoing investigations there.
He called on anybody who might have information or dashcam footage to contact police on 131 444.
The fatality brings the Territory’s road toll to 51 in 2024, compared to just 21 this time last year.
