‘The final missing piece’: Jake Clifford and wife Steph announce third baby

NQ Cowboys player Jake Clifford and his wife Steph have announced they expecting their third child - just seven months after their son Dustyn was born.
The couple made the announcement via an Instagram video.
“Surprise... the final missing piece to our family,” Steph Clifford said.
The news was met with love heart emojis from their friends, family, and fans - even Townsville grocery store Lamberts got in on the congratulations with a green love heart.
Clifford - who is a full-time NRL player, part-time mortgage broker, and part-time Lamberts ambassador - returned to the NQ Cowboys in 2024 after a stint playing in the UK’s Super League.
The couple married in 2021 and have two children together, four-year-old Naivy and seven-month-old Dustyn.
Clifford is far from the only Cowboy to announce an incoming addition to the family this year.
If our maths is right, the Clifford announcement is the sixth baby to join the Cowboys playing squad this year.
Two weeks ago, new Cowboys player Robert Derby and his fiance Waverly Eden announced their first pregnancy.
In March, Scott Drinkwater and his wife Osha welcomed their second child.
Also in March, John Bateman and his wife welcomed the safe arrival of their second child together.
In February, Reuben Cotter and his wife Mackenzie announced a third baby was on the way.
And lastly in April, new Cowboys starter Braiden Burns and his wife welcomed their second child.
