Cowboys player Robert Derby and his fiance Eden Waverley announced they are expecting a baby girl.

A baby girl is on the way for Cowboys winger Robert Derby and his new fiance Waverley Eden. 

Posted to Instagram on July 3, the couple shared photos showing a beach photo shoot featuring pink flowers, baby shoes and a sign announcing ‘Baby Derby’.

Teammates shared words of congratulations including John Bateman and Zac Laybutt.

The couple recently announced their engagement just five weeks ago, with the caption ‘Our story, to us and forever’.

Derby made his debut for the Cowboys in the 2023 season and it was announced this year that he had re-signed with the club until the end of 2028.
