Ian Zaro is no stranger to the spotlight after a series of viral Facebook videos led him to appear on ABC’s sketch show Black Comedy.
He’s garnered a greater following since joining TikTok and boasts 2.3 million followers and has more than 46 million likes on his funny videos.
In his most recent project, the NQ talent plays the character ‘Rufus’ in NZ comedy Nude Tuesday, alongside the likes of Jemaine Clement from the Flight of the Conchords.

Tubs is a pat-loving pooch from Townsville who’s won the hearts of millions on TikTok.
They decided to put up a sign on their front gate encouraging passers-by to give Tubs a pat, which resulted in dozens of people stopping to give her a scratch every day.
Tub’s owners filmed some of her adorable interactions with strangers in a now-viral clip on TikTok, which has now reached a whopping 40 million views since it was posted on July 25.

Nathan, who is a female feline despite her name, found her forever home with Douglas residents Rian Crandon and Melissa Pietrobuono in 2017 after being dumped in a box by the highway and rescued by the RSPCA.
The outdoor-loving couple began taking the cat out for walks with them when Nathan was about 12 months old, after she’d had all her injections.
“The intention wasn’t for her to go on a swim. We just wanted her to learn to go out safely on a lead, but it turns out she wanted to swim instead,” Melissa said.

The larrikin dad — who also runs a kayak business on the island — has already racked up more than seven million likes. Whether he’s cracking a joke or putting out some great content showing off North Queensland, it’s easy to see why so many people follow him.

Townsville-based Zachary Schmidt has amassed a large following on TikTok, with more than 320,000 people following his diving adventures.
According to his YouTube page, Zach’s on a mission to be the first person to free dive all 3000 reefs on the Great Barrier Reef.

Garn is a comedy filmmaking duo consisting of Townsville brothers Declan and Connor Evanson who are now gaining millions of views for their online content.
Declan is the writer, director, editor and creative powerhouse behind their content, while Connor brings the larrikin character ‘Murph Law’ to life in their short comedy clips.
The brothers began to garner some popularity after posting a video of some hilarious Townsville “life hacks” on how to not get your car stolen.
Their advice ranged from freezing your keys in a block of ice to removing your car battery and your wheels.

Danie Simpson is a Townsville social media influencer who has amassed more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.
Ms Simpson, a heavy vehicle mechanic, posts a variety of content including mechanical work and track exploration with her four-wheel drive. She first started her account in 2013.
“I think it’s more connecting with people you never would really know of, or have never heard of,” Ms Simpson said.
“Being able to see everything across the world relating to one particular topic is pretty cool, that’s what I think I enjoy the most about it.”

Townsville-based entrepreneur and influencer Bianca Wilkie has garnered quite a following since joining TikTok and boasts more than 119,000 followers and has more than 1.3 million likes on her videos which often involve travel, investing, NFTS and crypto among other things.

Kenny Brodie’s only cans beer review videos on TikTok have gotten more than half a million likes.
The NQ legend also has a YouTube channel where he uploads videos on everything from hunting to camping, fishing, building things, four-wheel-drive gear reviews and 3D printing.

Townsville-based artist Emily Ingham’s art work has caught the eye of some of the world’s most famous celebrities.
The 25-year-old has produced work for Meghan Trainor who says she is ‘obsessed’ with Emily’s work.
She produced a digitally rendered, characteristic portrait illustration of Meghan Trainor and her partner Daryl Sabara and their baby Riley.
Meghan Trainor is not the only celebrity that loves Emily’s art.
She has been featured, liked and reposted by several big names, influencers and brands.
Khloe Kardashian, Rihanna, Bindi Irwin and many influencers from Australia such as Em Davies, Tahlia Skaines, Jaz Hand and Sarah Day follow/acknowledge Emily’s art.
