A man has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman on Flinders St in Townsville’s CBD last night.
Police arrested the man in relation to an alleged sexual assault, which they said happened around midnight on Friday at Flinders St West.
The man, aged in his 40s, was charged and taken into custody with a bail objection.
Police say they believe the man and woman were not known to each other.
