Searching for missing Toowoomba man comes to tragic end

The body of a 61-year-old man reported missing from Middle Ridge last month has been found.
Dale Cook, 61, was last seen walking on McStay Street in his home suburb of Middle Ridge on Sunday August 11 at about 12.30 pm and had not contacted his family since.
Police believe he entered Glen Lomond Park around that time and had not been seen since.
Specialist police units were tasked with finding Mr Cook, who was wearing a light blue jumper and dark blue tracksuit pants when he disappeared.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
