Multiple Toowoomba CBD crashes cause traffic chaos

Emergency services were called to separate incidents in the CBD shortly after 2pm.

Emergency services are responding to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Herries Street and Water Street.

According to the initial reports, all occupants are out of their vehicles and a traffic diversion is in place.

They were called to the incident about 2.50pm on Friday.

The prang occurred a short time after two cars collided at the intersection of West Street and James Street, about 2.05pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics assessed four patients and transported a woman and young child to the Toowoomba Hospital as a precaution.
