A man has been transported to hospital following a second single-vehicle truck crash, west of Warwick.

The second crash occurred just after 2pm on Leyburn-Cunningham Road at Wheatvale, resulting in a truck rolling over off the road.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the man was in a “stable condition” following the crash, and was transported to Warwick Hospital with “hand and shoulder injuries”.

The crash occurred mere hours after a man was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital after a similar incident.

The man, in his 50s, was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition after he crashed a truck into a gully north of Warwick.

The initial report states a truck crossed to the wrong side of the Cunningham Highway, crashed through a guard rail and off a small bridge about 6am on Friday.

It came to rest in Campbells Gully about 5km north of Warwick.

The truck was not carrying a load, however the force of the impact pinned the man’s legs.

Five Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews were called to the scene and it took them about an hour to free him from the wreck.

It took another half an hour to get him out of the cab and into the care of Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics.

A rescue chopper was called in and has flown the man to hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said he suffered serious leg and back injuries and was transported in a serious condition.

The Queensland Police Service Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the matter.
