THE Sunshine Coast LifeFlight helicopter crew has flown a man to hospital after he was involved in a farming accident in the Toowoomba region Saturday afternoon.

It’s believed the man, aged in his 30s, was clearing rubbish on his rural property north of Toowoomba when he severely cut one of his wrists.

The man’s quick-thinking partner was able to perform preliminary first aid to stop the serious blood loss until local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics reached the scene.
