Emergency services are responding to a crash involving a train at Goondiwindi.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said a train and a LandCruiser collided near the intersection of Francis St shortly before 4pm on Thursday.
The early reports indicate that occupants of the LandCruiser have escaped serious harm.
A QRail spokeswoman confirmed a third-party freight train had struck a vehicle in the incident. It is unlikely that the incident would cause any delays to other freight services.
“We remind motorists to take extra precautions when approaching a level crossing,” the spokeswoman said.
