Elderly woman falls from horse in Coominya, Somerset Valley
A woman in her 80s was flown to hospital after falling from a horse on a remote property in the Toowoomba region.

An elderly woman was flown to hospital after she fell from a horse near Coominya in the Somerset Valley.
The woman, aged in her 80s, fell while riding a horse in a remote part of the Toowoomba region at about 11am on Wednesday, September 18.
The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight helicopter was tasked to the incident, and landed in a paddock close to where the woman had fallen, a LifeFlight spokesperson said.
Paramedics and the LifeFlight critical care doctor were able to get the elderly woman in a stable condition before she was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
