Fitzy’s has again turned pink for the annual Colour of Change luncheon, which has raised more than $450,000 over more than a decade for a special cause.
The event, which is organised by the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation, raises funds for BreastScreen Queensland’s Toowoomba service.
The sellout luncheon quickly became a mainstay on Toowoomba’s social calendar since it began in 2009.
The event raised a record-breaking $80,000 in 2021, and organisers hoped to reach at least $50,000 in the 2022 event.
Guests heard from breast cancer survivor, Carmel Charles, about her battle against the disease.
