Police allege Ms Giffin entered a Kettle St home about 3pm on April 16, and confronted a resident with a knife before demanding keys to a Nissan Navara parked at the property.

Police further allege she then attempted to drive away in the vehicle before a witness intervened and stopped her, after which it is alleged she fled on foot.

Ms Graham told the court she had received a partial brief of evidence pertaining to the case but she was still waiting for further material from police.

Police prosecutor Anita Page said six statements and seven exhibits remained outstanding and asked for a three week adjournment so that material could be obtained.

Magistrate Clare Kelly therefore remanded Ms Giffin on bail and adjourned all matters for mention back in the same court on November 8.
