From gamers and petrol heads to music and comedy fans there is something for everyone this weekend in Toowoomba. Check out all of Saturday and Sunday’s exciting events here.

2. Monster Truck Mayhem

The mad machines from Monster Truck Mayhem are back in the Darling Downs and will take over the Toowoomba Showgrounds this weekend.

Starting from 4pm on Saturday, the two-hour show will feature four of the top Aussie monster trucks, including the reigning champion Outback Thunder. The event will also feature laser and fireworks, dance troupes, fire stunts, stunt acts and wheeling standings Jeeps.

3. Picnic In the Paddock

Enjoy a day in the beautiful Goomburra Valley at Lazy Cow Farm.

Bring your friends, listen to a live jazz band while sipping on local wines, beers and cocktails.

Wander around the farm and soak in the atmosphere.

Showcasing the region's best producers the beverages available for purchase include Rosalie House wines, local craft beer gin cocktails and soft drinks.

The event will kick off on Saturday 12pm at 591 North Branch Rd, Goomburra.

4. Ballpark Music at the Powerhouse

Catch Brisbane’s Ballpark Music at The Powerhouse for their Like Love Tour with special guests Bean Magazine & Platonic Sex. Doors open at 7pm. For more details visit The Powerhouse Facebook page.

5. Toowoomba Farmer’s Markets

There is something for everyone at the popular Toowoomba farmers markets, from fresh meats, fruit and vegetables to honeys, breads and local spirits head on down to the windmills at Cobb & Co from 7am to 12pm to stock up for the week ahead.

If you miss out on Saturday’s action there is also the Toowoomba PCYC Market at 219 James St from 7am to 12.30pm on Sunday.

6. Toowoomba Bowls Club 125 years

Established in 1900, Toowoomba Bowls Club will be celebrating 125 years with a special lunch on Sunday, July 20.

Starting at noon at 40 Lindsay St, Toowoomba, the wonderful celebration of a hard-earnt milestone will feature special guests including life members of the club.

7. Arj Barker – The Mind Field

Winner of the ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release, Arj Barker’s The Mind Field has arrived in Toowoomba.

Arj sets out to answer some of life’s biggest questions: Why are we here? Are we alone in the universe? Why does it hurt when we pee?

8. Toowoomba Games Day July 2025

Battlestation Toowoomba will host their first Warhammer games day on Saturday. Entry is $25 and this will include lunch.

Doors will open at 10am and the first game will begin at 12.30pm. Both games will be pitched battle, this will help newer players to the game.

If players don’t have an army and are looking to get involved, they are encouraged to reach out to Battlestation who can lend models for them to use.

9. Peak and Repeat 

Peak and Repeat invites you to escape the daily grind and connect with nature and others through their fortnightly hikes in Toowoomba.

Join for relaxed walks, fresh air, and great company — no pressure, just good vibes.

Whether you’re seeking a break from work, social interaction, or simply a love for hiking, come along and try something new.

The social catch-up will be held at 2pm on Saturday afternoon leaving from the Picnic Point lookout and this week, will explore the iconic Picnic Point, combining the Firetrail and Quail walks into a 5km GRADE 3 circuit.

10. Toowoomba Audio Tour

Step into the soul of East Toowoomba with our immersive self-guided audio tour.

Wander through historic streets, uncover hidden gems, and let the city’s rich tapestry of stories unfold at your own pace.

The tour will stop at 11 captivating landmarks including Cobb & Co Museum, Clive Berghofer Stadium and Bishop’s House.
