Temper Trap to bring the tunes as Darwin’s favourite gin festival returns

Music lovers and gin enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to, as an iconic Australian band takes centre stage at one of Darwin’s most beloved festivals. See who it is.

The Temper Trap has been revealed as the headline act for the 2025 Top End Gin Festival, marking a major milestone for the independently run event.

The festival, set for Saturday, May 24 at the Darwin Ski Club, will bring together more than 20 gin distillers from across Australia, with live music, food, and three hours of complimentary gin tastings.

Best known for their global hit Sweet Disposition, The Temper Trap will make their long-awaited return to the Northern Territory, having last performed in Darwin at BASSINTHEGRASS in 2012.

Festival organiser Danielle Jones, Managing Director of SRO Events, said securing the internationally acclaimed band was a huge moment.

“We’re beyond excited to bring back the Top End Gin Festival for its fourth year, and with The Temper Trap headlining, we’re creating an unforgettable experience,” she said.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, February 27 at 5pm via Moshtix.
