Location: Hallett Cove

Cost: Starts at $250 for a session up to $520 for coaching plus Birkman method personality testing. Most popular option is six sessions for $1320.

Specialisation: I’ll happily admit to being a generalist, serving a broad range of people and personalities.

What life-coaching means to me: My life-coaching is about empowering others to hear — and heed — their internal voice. Together, we peel away the masks that confine the way they see themselves. I help clients make a neutral and revealing assessment. Then we collaborate on an action plan that gets them to the next stage. They can track their progress and adjust their plans accordingly.

What led me to life coaching: I was in a serious car accident in the Adelaide Hills years ago. I didn’t know it then, but in the debris of that crash site were the beginnings of my new direction. I went from a corporate-driven, goal-oriented achiever, to having to relearn basic tasks. My recovery took eight months. I had to question my beliefs and my thoughts. I explored each label and way of thinking, and whether to accept it. I had to learn what it really meant to ‘be present’.

Benefits of life-coaching: By helping them become a true expert on themselves. Too often, our thoughts, words and actions better serve other people. Along the way, the lens through which we view ourselves and our potential gets muddied. I offer a neutral, genuinely judgement-free zone to brainstorm their hopes and desires. I’m compassionate and practical too; I’ll challenge people to explore their beliefs.

How to make 2025 the best year yet: Decide (don’t hope) that 2025 is the year that you move away from reacting on rote to people and situations around you. Instead, be proactive (even in small ways). Decide to step forward to create and claim the life you want.

Cost: $7000-$14,000 for six and 12 month packages.

Specialisation: Transformational life and business coaching, focusing on helping individuals and entrepreneurs navigate change, overcome limiting beliefs, and align their lives and businesses with their core values.

What ‘life-coaching’ means to me: Life coaching is about helping people overcome challenges, gain clarity, and take action to create a life they truly want. It’s a supportive process that empowers individuals to break through limitations, reconnect with their purpose, and align their goals with their values. Through guidance and mindset shifts, life coaching helps people build confidence, resilience, and achieve personal and business growth and success.

What led me to life coaching: With 25 years of business experience, 20 years as an educator, and 38 years of mastering mindfulness and mindset, my journey to becoming a coach was a natural evolution. I realised that my collective wisdom, resilience, and life experience could empower others to transform their own lives and businesses.

Benefits of life-coaching: Coaches turn big ideas into clear, actionable steps and keep clients accountable as they work toward their goals. By overcoming self-doubt and aligning their actions with their values, people can create lasting success and greater fulfilment in their personal and professional lives.

Location: Rosewater

Cost: Start at $255 a session for six weeks to six month programs.

Specialisation: High-performance coaching for ambitious professionals, business owners, and athletes, helping them break through upper limits while maintaining work-life harmony, mental fitness and trauma recovery coaching, addiction recovery support and youth mentoring through our ‘Safe Stranger’ program.

What ‘life-coaching’ means to me: We believe life coaching is about empowering people with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and opportunities. Think of us as teaching you to be a black belt at life – so when challenges arise, you can face them head-on without being beaten down. We’re not here to save you; we’re here to help you save yourself.

What led Danny to life coaching: My path to coaching emerged from personal experience with mental health challenges, drug addiction, and eating disorders. After working in the clinical industry, I recognised that if you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you always got. Having overcome these challenges himself, I now have the blueprint to help others overcome their own obstacles.

What led Jordan to life coaching: My passion stems from my experience growing up around domestic violence and substance abuse, driving his commitment to building strong relationships and family connections.

Benefits of life-coaching: We believe that while people readily invest in their external appearance – clothes, diet, exercise – they often overlook the importance of internal wellbeing. As our name suggests, true transformation happens from the inside out. Personal growth and mental health deserve equal, if not greater, investment than external improvements.

How to make 2025 the best year yet: Partner with an accountability buddy, set achievable, realistic targets, dig deep into your true motivations and practice patience.

Location: Norwood

Cost: Start at $5800 with programs ranging from two to 12 month.

Specialisation: Helping business owners and high-performers break through any destructive behaviours or patterns, and create a life they are inspired to live on their terms.

What ‘life-coaching’ means to me: The best way for me to explain ‘coaching’ is through the process of it. Coaching is assisting an individual look at their life holistically and help them get a clear vision on their desired future and goals. Once these are established, the process is to help them resolve any mental limits or repeating patterns that are holding them back. Then once their mindset is wired to win, they are guided with both support and challenge to ensure they reach the goals they set for themselves.

What led me to life coaching: One of the most significant times of my life was overcoming my own mental challenges. I got into a dark place as a teenager and it took many years of delving into different aspects of self-improvement, educating myself around the brain and human behaviour, and as a consequence it become a clear purpose for me to help others do the same.

Benefits of life-coaching:Coaching helps individuals clarify what it is they want in life and identify the next steps, focusing on what truly matters to them each day. By raising standards in health, relationships, business/careers and other key life areas – coaching provides accountability, enhances focus, and promotes balance, empowering individuals to achieve personal growth, wellbeing and success.

How to make 2025 the best year yet: Start 2025 strong by setting clear intentions for yourself. set time to reflect, set deadlines, ask “why?” for each goal, ask why it matters and how it benefits your life, prioritise and break it down, (find) resources (and) visualise.

Location: Mount Compass

Cost: Once off payment of $3997 for a 2-3 month period but only if the client make that in additional profit.

Specialisation: Business and life coaching for tradies looking to build their own business or working towards a fulfilling retirement.

What ‘life-coaching’ means to me: I used to think that life and business coaching were two quite separate things and I only did business coaching. But I think that as time has gone by and the changes in technology … the two are fused together as one, and even

though I work with businesses, businesses are owned and run by people, I don’t coach the

business I coach the people within the business.

What led me to life coaching: In 2016 after retiring the year prior I got the news that (a mentor of mine) had a very aggressive cancer and within a period of three months he died. This hit me hard and with the added stress of my work I struggled with my own health and depression for many months before eventually making the decision that life was too short to wait to do the things I want to do. If I wanted to have my own business then I needed to do it now while I still could. In June 2017 I resigned from the family business and started training to become a coach.

Benefits of life-coaching:As tradies we spent years learning our technical trade through trade school and working for our initial employer but when you start your business you have no conscious awareness of what you need to know to run a business. Coaching can help speed up your results and help build confidence as a business.

How to make 2025 the best year yet: If you are tired of doing the same thing over and over and are not getting the results that you want, reach out and book a call with me so that we can discuss you and your business, where you are currently at, the challenges you are having and what are your hopes and dreams.
