Just before midnight, SA Police and paramedics were called to a unit block on Hume Lane in the CBD’s east after reports a man and woman had assaulted each other.

A 22-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, both from Adelaide, were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

SA Police said the two were known to each other but are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
