A car has been crushed by a falling tree west of Adelaide, but its driver has made a miraculous escape.
The tree – which appeared to be completely uprooted – fell on the car on Davenport Terrace at Richmond just after midday, according to 7NEWS.
A 60-year-old man, who was trapped inside, was helped by bystanders before emergency services arrived.
He was taken to hospital for a check-up, but was otherwise uninjured.
“He’s an extremely lucky man,” one witness told 7NEWS.

It’s unclear what caused the tree to fall.
A Wilson Security spokesperson said: “The officer involved in the incident is fine”.
“He was taken to hospital for a check-up only and doesn’t have any injuries.”
