A good Samaritan who stopped to help a woman she thought needed medical help in the dead of night instead fell victim to a brazen crime.

A good Samaritan who stopped to help a woman she thought was in distress has fallen victim to a carjacking.
The woman was driving her Mitsubishi sedan along Torrens Rd at Kilkenny when she spotted another woman she thought needed medical attention about 12.15am Wednesday.
But when she stopped, the woman allegedly jumped into the kind-hearted stranger’s vehicle and drove off.
Police spotted the car about half an hour later on Wattle St in Brompton where the vehicle was intercepted.
The 32-year-old driver was arrested and breath-tested, allegedly returning a reading of 0.042.
She was charged with illegal use, driving unlicensed and drink driving.
She was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on November 27.
