Early-morning commuters are being warned of a burst water main at College Park causing traffic problems.
The main broke on Monday afternoon outside the Maid Hotel, flooding part of Payneham Rd and leaving a huge hole.
It is still causing headaches with city-bound traffic down to one lane.
SA Water advised work on the water main would continue through the morning peak traffic times and city-bound commuters should allow extra travel time or expect delays.
Police are asking commuters to avoid the area if they can and consider alternative routes.
On Monday, a large burst water main at Holden Hill caused chaos for businesses and motorists.
It broke just after 2.30am on Valiant Rd, flooding the back of a Thai restaurant and the servo next door, 7NEWS reported.
A torrent of water flowed down North East Rd, and onto Grand Junction Rd, closing several lanes.
