Hundreds of passengers have been delayed at Adelaide Airport, after a “minor” security breach sparked chaos.
A spokesperson for Adelaide Airport said a single passenger passed through security without adequate screening around 12.30pm
Pictures from the scene show hundreds of passengers packed into the check-in area.
Security screening recommenced around 1.30pm, with some departing flights delayed due to the incident.

Patience,” a spokesperson for Adelaide Airport said.
It’s the third security breach in eight months at the airport.
Passengers were evacuated from the main terminal in another incident in June, after 10 people had to be re-screened due to a human error.
