With 129 active cases of Covid-19 recorded in Queensland, here’s the latest data for the Darling Downs region.

More than 40,000 vaccinations against Covid-19 have been administered in the Darling Downs region.

Of the 40,007 vaccinations, Baillie Henderson Hospital has administered 24,662.

Between January 22 last year and August 14 this year, Darling Downs Health has performed 131,518 tests.

A Darling Downs Health spokesman said there was still a strong demand for testing at the drive-in test site at the Baillie Henderson Hospital campus.

“Over the weekend of 14-15 August Darling Downs Health provided 281 tests at

the site,” the spokesman said.

“If you have any flu-like symptoms please have a test straight away, as testing and vaccination are the two best ways to limit the chances of spreading Covid-19.

“Our Covid-19 vaccination clinic at Baillie Henderson Hospital is also busy and remains fully booked for second doses and priority groups, such as healthcare, aged care and disability services staff.”

Statewide, there are 129 active cases with no new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.

Queensland has issued a total of 233,022 quarantine notices, 8081 of which are active.
