St George man confirmed dead after Clara Creek machinery accident

Police are preparing a report for the coroner after a man died in a machinery incident near Charleville on Thursday afternoon.

A 62-year-old St George man has died at a Clara Creek address on the Landsborough Highway on August 31 in what has been described as a workplace incident.

Emergency crews responded to reports of a machinery accident on Thursday afternoon, with four fire crews assisting police and paramedics on scene at about 12.50pm.

Only one patient was assessed for critical injuries however sadly the man passed away at the scene.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman confirmed police were now preparing a report for the coroner after the non-suspicious death.
