Police on the hunt for two men allegedly involved in a break and enter at an East Greenmount property

Three men unleashed chaos during an overnight rampage involving stolen vehicles, a dramatic crash and an attempted car torching.

Between 8.30pm on October 31 and 2.15am November 1, three males travelling in a gold 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander (pictured) arrived at a Moller Street address in East Greenmount, stealing a white 2012 Toyota LandCruiser from a shed before leaving the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone in the Clifton area who may have been approached by strangers in the early hours of November 1 to come forward.

It comes after the break and enter at an address on Moller St, East Greenmount, where three men travelling in a gold 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander allegedly stole property, including a white 2012 Toyota LandCruiser from a shed between 8.30pm and 2.15am before leaving the scene.

Both vehicles were spotted travelling in the Clifton area a short time later, with the stolen Toyota LandCruiser located about 3am on Gillam St after being involved in a crash with a brown 2021 Toyota LandCruiser.

No injuries were reported and police believe the male driver of the Mitsubishi Outlander left the scene, leaving behind the male driver and passenger of the stolen Toyota LandCruiser.

It is understood police located the Mitsubishi Outlander, which someone had attempted to set on fire.

Officers arrested a man a short time later.

The 24-year-old Warwick man was released on bail on November 4 and is set to appear in the Warwick Magistrates Court on November 24.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash in Clifton or was approached by anyone needing transport or a phone to contact Policelink on 131 444.
