A woman has been taken to hospital after a marine sting at a popular Bowen beach.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they were called to Horseshoe Bay Road just before 10.30am following a reported marine sting.
Crews assessed a woman in her 60s who had stings to her leg and foot.
She was taken to Bowen Hospital for further treatment.
