Rachel Beatrice Ratahi appeared in Proserpine Magistrates Court this week on the charges which stem from alleged events in Proserpine on December 12.

During the brief mention the court heard a full brief had been collected by the 33-year-old.

Magistrate Anna Smith said the case looked like it would have to be dealt with on indictment and on the next occasion Ms Ratahi’s lawyers would need to indicate how they would be proceeding.

The case was adjourned to 21 July to allow Ms Ratahi to conference with her lawyers.

Ms Ratahi’s appearance was excused on the next appearance.
