A street light pole fell just short of a hotel veranda in the aftermath of a bus crash in Bowen.
A bus was headed north along Herbert St at 11.44am when it collided with a vehicle outside of The Larrikin Hotel.
Witnesses allege the bus failed to stop at the Powell St intersection before it crashed into a vehicle already on the roundabout.
The bus then reportedly collected a street pole which toppled towards the Larrikin and landed near the veranda before the bus came to a stop.
The bus bound for Rose Bay had two passengers on board.
Emergency crews were called to the scene.
Fortunately no one was injured.
