Wet roads spark commuter crawl in and out of Brisbane CBD
Motorists are being warned to expect potentially hour-long delays out of Brisbane with traffic reeling after a two-vehicle crash on the M1.

City commuters are being warned for hour-long delays this afternoon, as motorists are told to prepare for wet roads and bumper-to-bumper exits.
As of 5pm, drivers heading southbound along the M1 can expect a 46-minute delay while drivers travelling north towards the Sunshine Coast and Caboolture are being told to brace for a 30-minute delay.
As well as long delays, drivers are also being asked to exercise caution on wet and slippery roads with some parts of South East Queensland copping more than 100mm of rain in 24 hours.
QPS have confirmed a two-vehicle traffic crash has been reported on the M1 near Beenleigh South.
The incident which occurred just after 5pm has caused traffic to bank up near Exit 35. The driver of one of the vehicles has reported only minor injuries.
A tow truck is on scene and police diversions are in place.
It comes after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Fortitude Valley earlier today, leaving them in a critical condition.
