Earlier, Fortitude Valley resident Brad Cottrell said he was on his way home from work when he drove past the incident.
“I am driving past the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, there is a bit of heavy traffic,” Mr Cottrell said.
“There were two cars, a Mazda and Chrysler 300c and it was at the set of lights up the road.
“Traffic is pretty backed up, they are only letting one lane of traffic through the set of lights.”
More to come.
