A 40-year-old man has died after he lost control of the e-scooter he was riding on a street south of Brisbane today.

A man has died after losing control of his e-scooter and colliding with a pole in Logan.

Police say the 40-year-old Sunshine Coast man was riding an electric scooter along High Street in Waterford this afternoon, when he lost control and collided with a pole.

He sustained “significant injuries” and died at the scene.

It follows a crash in Bundaberg early this morning that claimed the life of a young Brisbane man.
