Red Hill man dead after region’s second horror crash within a week

A young man from Brisbane’s inner-west has died after the car the car he was in veered off a rural road road and smashed into a tree.

A young Brisbane man has died near Bundaberg after the car he was driving veered off the road and slammed into a tree.

Police are now investigating the incident, which happened at around 12.30am Sunday along Branyan Drive, Branyan.

Emergency crews attended the scene however the 25-year-old driver, from Red Hill in Brisbane’s inner west, died as a result.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

The man was the only occupant of the silver Honda sedan and is the second person to have died on Bundaberg’s roads in a week.

A 32-year-old North Bundaberg man died in a crash at Woodgate last Sunday.
