Two men to face court over theft of firearms from shed in East Greenmount
Police have charged two men after three firearms and a Toyota LandCruiser were stolen from an East Greenmount property, ending in a dramatic crash.
Two men will face court charged with the theft of firearms and a vehicle from an East Greenmount home.
Detectives from the Warwick Criminal Investigation Branch will allege that sometime between 8.30pm on October 31 and 2.15am on November 1, the men broke into a shed on a Moller St property stealing a 2012 Toyota LandCruiser before leaving the scene.
About 3am the stolen Toyota LandCruiser was located on Gillam St in Clifton, after being involved in a traffic crash with a brown 2021 Toyota LandCruiser.
Police will further allege the men stole three firearms from the Moller St address on October 31, which were later recovered from a West St address in Warwick on November 4.
A 30-year-old Warwick man has been charged with one count each of enter premises and commit, unlawful use of motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He has been remanded in custody to reappear in the Warwick Magistrates Court on November 19.
A 24-year-old Warwick man has been charged with enter premises and commit and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He has been bailed to appear in the Warwick Magistrates Court on November 24.
