THE Rose Bowl Polocrosse is on again at Morgan Park today and tomorrow and with over 60 teams nominated to compete there is guaranteed to be plenty of action.
There will be open, mixed and junior competitions on today and finishing tomorrow.
Two selected teams from the Australian Under 21 and Under 16s squads will take to the fields, against each other.
All the players said they were looking forward to the competition.
Bre Field, a member of the Under 21 Australian side, said she took up the sport 10 years ago.
"I love the adrenalin of it," she said.
Her team-mate Lucy Grills said she enjoyed the friendships.
Rachel Stringfellow who will take to the field in the junior side said she took up the sport nine years ago.
"I've grown up around the sport," she said.
"My family got me into it."
The players will saddle their horses and pick up their racquets at 8am this morning. Games under lights will start at 6pm.
The bar will open at 10am and remain open until late.
There will also be a range of food available from the canteen during the day.
For those attending the games under lights, starting at 6pm, a hot-two course meal will be on offer for $17.
The evening entertainment will kick off at 9pm.
The semi-finals and finals will be played tomorrow starting at 8am.
Tickets are available at the gate costing $12 for an all day/night pass or $6 for just a night ticket.
Children under 16 are free.
