Rodeo school successful
A RODEO school run by Darryl Joe Kong and Scott Keogh at the Warwick Showgrounds at the weekend attracted 27 rodeo students. According to Clint Chalmers from Weetalaba, Collinsville, it was a great chance for many of the students to put some polish on their riding skills and receive some individual coaching from two of the best rodeo coaches around. Chalmers and his road companion Brian Philp from Fig Tree Pocket Station, Arnhem Land, thought nothing of travelling 13 hours to attend the coaching clinic being run by experienced Warwick cowboys Darryl Joe Kong and Scott Keogh. Chalmers went on to say that everyone he had spoken to said they would like to see rodeo coaching clinics held annually in Warwick. "With instructors of this calibre of Scott and Darryl being able to guide us to the next level, we all benefit.'' While six of the students came from Warwick, many came from distant parts of the country
